I write stories worth telling. I believe that fiction is the most honest way to tell the truth.

I was born in the land between the rivers (ancient Mesopotamia, modern-day Iraq), and my work is influenced by my admiration for all the people who lived on this land throughout its long and rich history.

My first novel, The Blunted Blade, is set in a fictional kingdom torn apart by civil war, and is inspired by the cultures of Bronze Age Mesopotamia.
